Food, fun, and fundraising at The Rotary Club of Solon’s 4th Annual Night at the Races.

A festive atmosphere prevailed at the Rotary Club of Solon’s 4th Annual Night at the Races fundraiser. The Solon Community Center was transformed into a thoroughbred race track, with video horse racing called by a professional emcee, silent and live auctions, Superbowl Squares, and our first “Boatload of Booze” raffle.

With 135 partygoers reveling in food and drink and enjoying the evening’s activities, this year’s event raised a record amount for the Club’s causes. We would like to thank our Rotarians for their energy and dedication in organizing the event, as well as our generous sponsors, who supported the night by purchasing tables, horses, and advertisements in the race program.

All net proceeds from the event will be used for charitable causes the club supports, such as the Solon Mobile Food Pantry, serving many area communities, camps for children, Solon’s Permanent Safety Town, and Clean Drinking Water initiatives.
