Our guest speaker is Fareeda Farhan Naduvil Valappil Fareeda is a Student at Case Western Reserve University and Solon High School graduate. She serves as president of the Remote Area Medical chapter at her university, which travels and volunteers at pop-up dental and vision clinics. A pop-up clinic is being planned for Cleveland in February, 2026. They serve at least 300 people at each pop-up clinic, Fareeda will share how we as a Rotary can help make this pop-up happen in Cleveland

Our guest speaker is Ashley Angelone a pastry chef with the Cleveland Restaurant Group will talk about plans to open a bakery called The Wicked Whisk Bakery in the former Birdigo location at 32975 Aurora Road. She’ll provide some samples and use the Solon Rotary Club as a focus group for mapping out a fantastic and creative menu of cookies, pastries, cakes and breads.

Our guest speakers are Shermelle Schaffer, Community Program Coordinator of The Gathering Place and Hanisha from Beautiful Place. A breast cancer survivor and author of Commander of My Care, Shermelle is a passionate advocate for patient empowerment. She will share both her personal story and insights into the vital work being done by The Gathering Place, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer. The Gathering Place offers free programs and services designed to educate, empower, and connect people with the resources they need during their cancer journey. Hanisha is a minority business owned, certified sound therapist that offers holistic services such as mindful meditation, aura cleansing, sound healing therapy with singing bowls. Experience a little bliss at this Rotary Breakfast Meeting.
