Grant Behnke, a Solon High School senior who will be attending Cornell University in the fall to study hotel management, is an outstanding student with a rigorous course load full of advanced placement courses.  He is well-liked by students and staff and is described as “hard-working, mature and responsible student” with a “keen sense of humor.”  He’s also a leader of the high school cross country team and participates in Music in Motion, Solon High’s nationally recognized show choir.  In addition, Grant is an accomplished pianist who serves as an accompanist at volunteer events.  Grant is comfortable working with people and makes others feel at ease with his humility and positive attitude and is “truly a top-notch student with great strength of character.”
